| Hljómsveitin Bítlarnir samanstóð af fjórum ungum mönnum frá Bretlandi. Þeir byrjuðu að leika saman á hljóðfæri á unglingsárunum. Um sjö ára skeið áttu þeir fleiri lög á vinsældalistum en nokkrir aðrir. Árið nítján hundruð og sjötíu leystist sveitin upp og meðlimir hennar héldu hver sína leið. Nú eru aðeins tveir þeirra á lífi. Einn var myrtur en annar lést úr krabbameini. En lögin munu víst áreiðanlega lifa góðu lífi um ókomna tíð.
